What is the role of small cities in the regional urban network, and what are their specific socio-spatial and morphological dynamics, which are often overlooked in urban studies?
As a member of the Mikripoli Network, I collaborated on multiple research projects, performing statistical and spatial data analysis – developing typologies and comparative case studies.
The work resulted in a robust body of publications that deepen the knowledge about small cities in Rio Grande do Sul, providing theoretical and practical subsidies for urban planning.
Data Sources: IBGE, Google Earth, City Hall Data, OpenStreetMap, Field Research.
Tools and Methods: QGIS, Statistical Analysis, Morphological Analysis.
